COMPETITION RULES

 

Each team will be provided with the following:

  • Large Big Green Egg

  • Big Green Egg Lump Charcoal with charcoal starters

  • 10' x 10' Tent

  • Prep Table

  • Sanitation Items

  • Six or more slabs of pork ribs

  • Six or more whole chickens

  • Six or more balls of proofed pizza dough ready for rolling or stretching

  • Teams will bring all of their own cooking utensils, towels, gloves, foil, paper towels, knives, spoons, forks, their barbecue prowess, secret sauces, spicy blends, family secrets and grilling attitude

  • Teams will be judged by a panel of barbecue judges in each of three categories; ribs, chicken and pizza.  A "Taster's Choice" overall award will go to the team with the best attitude and food as judged by tasters.
